had the electrician in this morning to isolate the wires, then bea started on the walls - it was scary how easily the wall plaster came off - didnt really need any chisels etc - most just came off by bashing it with the hammer and then pulling it off with the claw part of it.

i've had a massive head cold all day so i've not been doing a lot except walking around like a zombie, blowing my nose and sleeping. not nice.
