quite an odd film we thought - not too sure whether to recommend it. its kinda mixture of o brother, moulin rouge, sleepy hollow/ edward scissorhands (no surprise there), and a few other films i cant quite place, but at the same time is nothing like any of them. the point of the film kinda eluded us both, but was sort of there at the end of it all - i guess pretty typical tim burton stuff, just not as visually dark as usual (although there are a few moments...)
a film they were trailering that looked really interesting was "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" which looks kinda crazy, but pretty cool too. got jim carry, kate winslet and elijah wood in it, and something to do with having bits of your mind erased.
